Coming up the weekend of the February 15th is InterVarsity’s winter conference, which is now called CORSSculture. CROSSculture 08 is a conference about the mission of Jesus on campus. Interestingly, Jesus chooses students and faculty and staff to accomplish that mission, through compelling lives and a compelling message, through love and boldness, and through fervent prayer and the feral presence of God. The theme of this year’s conference is Prayer and the Holy Spirit and we will be looking at the early chapters of Acts to see how the people of God were filled with the Holy Spirit and were given power through Him and prayer to be Jesus’ witnesses to the entire world.
